Challenge:

Union County Savings Bank (UCSB) is committed to delivering unparalleled service to their banking customers and strengthening their local communities. Looking to upgrade their facilities to build a better bank for their community, they purchased a new two-story building in Springfield to house their administrative staff. The building was antiquated and needed to be completely redesigned and built out in a fast turnaround time to ensure they could maintain uninterrupted service to their valued clients.

Solution:

To ensure the new space was used to the best advantage possible, RI Workplace developed and presented various design and layout options to UCSB’s leadership. The final selection included a diverse array of work zones to meticulously address the needs of each team member. This included designated space for meetings, private offices, an executive suite, conference rooms, cafes and bathrooms on both floors, a spacious training room, and personal workstations. The design was then handed over to RI’s construction team who fast-tracked the project. The new space was built out in just 18 weeks, meeting the deadline for a grand opening to be held with several important stakeholders present – including the local mayor who led in the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Results:

The new administrative office has an appealing balance between the cozier “residential feel” of a bank environment and the modern atmosphere of the corporate office. Due to the careful selection of coordinating colors, decorative glass decals, plush carpets, and homey café designs, the space boasts a strong image of the Union County Savings Bank brand. Pleased with the transformation, the client stated at their grand opening event, “We couldn’t have done it without RI.” We are honored to have been able to assist UCSB in achieving their mission.
