Challenge:

ESTI Warehouse Inc., a leading supplier of tire repair material and equipment, needed a new space more centrally located to their expanding client base. The decision was made to purchase a mixed-use office/warehouse building in Cinnaminson, New Jersey. Never having previously customized or built an office space, ESTI needed a team who could guide them through the complete process and ensure their return on investment was maximized.

Solution:

ESTI was quick to recognize the benefits of working with a full-service firm and saw how RI Workplace’s methodology could save them both time and money. By keeping the design and construction scope under one hat, RI Workplace was able to handle all project details from initial design conversations to permitting processes to final punch list and certificate of occupancy. ESTI made several visits to our showroom to see different design options in real life application and make use of our 3-D virtual reality technology to “walk” through their own space and get a feel for it prior to any final decisions. With the larger portion of the building serving as a warehouse, careful space planning was conducted to ensure all needs were met and value maximized.

Results:

By overseeing and handling the many details of a fully customized office project, RI Workplace was able to simplify the process for ESTI and facilitate a seamless relocation. With the industrial loft-style design they now have an office that aligns with their industry and serves their team well. The blackened steel framed glass walls, open deck ceiling, authentic brick feature wall, polished concrete floors, and Iron Age furniture were chosen to highlight their industry vibe.
