With collaborative work environments being a predominant design trend, you’d think the walls are coming down in the work place. Not necessarily so! In fact, another emerging trend is incorporating greenery into office design. Rather than a lonely tree in the corner that ultimately get neglected, or a small house plant on a desk or two, foliage is now taking center stage in the office in the form of living walls. Beautification, air purification, energy savings through the plants’ insulation properties, and higher morale are just a few of the benefits of using greenery to enhance the working spaces.
