Aucta Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

RI Workplace designs and builds a new 52,000-square foot headquarters and lab space for Aucta Pharmaceuticals in Bernards Township.

Situation:

Aucta Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is an emerging technology-based company focusing on the development and commercialization of both specialty brand and specialty generic pharma products. Preparing for long-term growth in the U.S., Aucta Pharmaceuticals was looking to relocate to a new corporate headquarters that could serve as a fully integrated hub for research, development, commercialization, and administrative operations.

Solution:

RI Workplace was hired for design, construction, and technical expertise. Our goal was to create a modern and welcoming workplace across three separate buildings while incorporating necessary lab space and infrastructure including stability chambers, an MDF room and IDF room. RI provided a full turn-key solution including coordination of many different trades such as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire prevention, data, concrete, and shaft work for two brand new elevators, millwork, and exterior site work. The project also included lab furniture installation, installation of an emergency shower, a server and IT room.

Results:

Despite the scale and complexity of the project, RI Workplace delivered Aucta Pharmaceuticals’ new headquarters in under 12 months. The design is simple, clean, and filled with natural daylight to energize their team. Every detail was carefully considered, including hand-selected flooring by our Design Director, Komel, chosen to reflect the angles of Aucta’s logo. Aucta’s team now enjoys a headquarters that fully supports their needs – including private executive offices, multiple conference rooms, a large café for company get-togethers, a coffee bar, lounge and more! It was a privilege to work with Aucta to support their long-term innovation and success by bringing their ideal workplace to life.
